Pros:

-Even when the volume is at its highest, there is no sound distortion.

-Aesthetically pleasing in almost any room.

-Simplicity of operation

-It produces a very rich, full, clear sound at both soft and loud volumes.

-Has great, crisp treble and Bass that really kicks for such a small unit.

-Volume increases/decreases smoothly. There are no noticeable, large steps in volume.

-iPod charges while docked.

-Easily fills a small room with sound. Does a relatively good job in a large room for a small speaker system.

-Bose Customer Service is very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

-This system is not portable. It must be plugged in.

-There are no other input or output ports besides the iPod dock.

-The docking station is too skinny to accommodate the 60 GB iPod and other fatter iPods.

-Sometimes the iPod wobbles and does not seem fully supported in the slightly reclined docking station.

-User is not able to search for a song using the remote.

-The price is very high (approx. $269).
